Richard is no longer working at IGG.
Richard (1971) started his study “Architecture” at the LTS and continued it at the MTS and HTS in The Hague. Richard completed his internship at several employers where he gained experience in various functions, such as cost expert, building calculator and assistant architect.
After his schooling, Richard had a permanent job at one of his former internship addresses, WEBA Bouwonderneming BV. employment contract, where he started as a planner / calculator. Within the 20 years that he worked there, he went through all facets of the construction world, being a calculator, work planner and project manager of both small and large projects. Richard also did various courses and studies during this period, namely ‘Construction site management’, ‘LEAN’, ‘UAV 2012’, ‘Building decision 2012’, ‘Planning’ and ‘Logistics Management’.
After this employer went bankrupt in 2013, Richard worked for a year as a work planner / project manager for major renovation projects (including Shell Head Office in The Hague) at BAM Bouw en Techniek BV in Rotterdam.
From mid-2014 to early 2017, Richard worked at Slavenburg Bouw in Bergambacht as a planner / construction expert / project manager of major renovation projects. and new construction projects, including the renovation of the RDM Onderzeebootloods in Rotterdam, the new construction of the Overamstel Hotel and Hotel Noord, both in Amsterdam, and the new construction of the Marriott Hotel in Aalsmeer.
In May 2017, Richard will be at IGG started as a senior construction cost expert / project manager. His duties include drafting estimates, budgets and construction site costs, reviewing plans, budgets and fees, advising the client on construction costs, advising project teams and clients on regulations, as well as supervising and managing of projects in design and implementation. For IGG, Richard is (has been) very involved in projects such as Temporary Housing House of Representatives in The Hague, Oosterdokseiland lot 5 and 6 in Amsterdam (new Booking.com office) and the Capital Program of Schiphol Real Estate. This mainly on the implementation and cost technical level and for his view of alternatives that can be realized within the set budgets.
