Ahmed completed his Master’s in Building Technology at Delft University of Technology in 2018 in the field of load-bearing construction, building construction and building physics. For his graduation project, he focused on the development of a sustainable, innovative, transparent facade for non-residential construction. After his studies he worked at a consulting engineering firm.
Ahmed has been working at IGG since 2019 as a construction cost consultant, where his responsibilities are focused on drafting feasibility studies, estimates and budgets based on analysing complex construction projects during various design phases. Due to the increasing complexity of construction projects, adequate construction cost advice is fundamental to guarantee financial feasibility. As a result, Ahmed uses its building technology knowledge and expertise to provide clients with an integrated perspective on construction costs.
Ahmed is very driven to bring complex building projects to positive results, with potential risks being identified in time. This includes a proactive approach, a healthy relationship between quality and construction budget, customer focus and involvement in various residential and non-residential projects. These are also his driving forces.
