Calatrava Bridges

Calatrava designed three striking white cable-stayed bridges, each with a healing steel pylon that have both an aesthetic and a constructive function – typical of the Spaniard’s work. The bridges were given the names ‘Harp’,  ‘Citer’ and ‘Luit’ because of the string-like cables.

HES

The four greenhouses are an addition within the original budget. In this way, the HES has received the auditorium “for free”. Despite the unconventional shape, the building has an extremely support structure that arises from the parking layer. The exterior, with its friendly shape, contrasts with the harshness of the environment and thus introduces the informal character and casual atmosphere of the interior.
